Squire Patton Boggs is an outstanding global law firm with great history. Indeed, the firm has now been delivering legal advice to its clients for more than a hundred years!

The firm is super keen to retain and develop the talented people it recruits through the Squire Patton Boggs trainee solicitor programme, and many of the firm's current partners are still with the firm after completing their training contracts with Squire Patton Boggs at the beginning of their legal careers. Even the firm's training principal, Giles Chesher, completed his training contract with the firm!

Trainees in Birmingham, Leeds, London and Manchester have the opportunity to experience real variety in their training contract, with six four-month seats on offer in a range of practice groups, from Business Immigration and Communications to International Dispute Resolution and Financial Services.

Each trainee is supported throughout their journey with both a "daily supervisor" and a partner supervisor in each department they join. Secondments in overseas offices are also up for grabs in locations such as Brussels and Paris for trainees with language skills.
